THE BOSS of corrupt security training company Roger Training Academy admitted his sole interest in his business was making money.

Ahmed Moosani confessed he would hand out industry-recognised certificates signifying training in security guarding if candidates made under-the-table payments of up to $500 to his Sydney firm.

Candidates with certificates from Roger Training would go on to work at Holsworthy army barracks in Sydney, television stations and other organisations.

The Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) was told Moosani deposited at least $1.3 million from the scam into a bank account between 2008 and 2009.

Last year, police launched an investigation last year after being tipped off about the firm.

It was removed from the register in March. The hearing will continue.
