This agreement has been submitted to Fair Work Australia for approval.

AG2012/13739      Evolution Security NSW Pty Ltd      Evolution Security (NSW) Workplace Agreement 2012      27 November 2012 ABN: 85 138 881 133 and operates out of NSW 2259

http://www.fwc.gov.au/documents/agreements_applications/AG2012_13739.pdf

The criticism of this agreement is mainly in the payscales. The agreement does not specify any shift allowances  or weekend penalty rates. It has a loaded rate which falls short of any shift allowances and weekend penalty rates when applied to the base hourly rate.

There are other conditions in the agreement which go against the conditions of the Security Services Industry Award 2010, such as an unpaid meal break, meal allowance is below the award, no section setting out work classifications or set of allowances etc.

The agreement has been signed by 6 employees but they have not been identified. This is another reason workers should enlist either a union or a Workplace Relations expert to negotiate on their behalf.

It has been designed by the employer for his own benefit and nothing in it for the employee.

Ah! Working in Security where finding the real thief could be your employer. Now is the time to check your super account.
