National Protective Services Pty Ltd has a current pre Fair Work Act 2009 agreement in place.See: https://www.fwc.gov.au/documents/documents/agreements/wpa/CAEV096210932-1.pdf

This agreement has expired this year 2014

The new Security Services Industry Award gives security workers improved pay and conditions since this agreement was approved.   You and your workmates may want to consider termination of this agreement and negotiate a new agreement.

Even though it has expired, it extends until one of the parties to the agreement decides to terminate it.   Any one employee may apply to have this agreement terminated.   For information on how to terminate existing AWAs, ITEAs and collective agreements call the Fair Work Australia Help Line on 1300 799 675.

Go to the web page  to learn about the new Security Services Industry Award and how this new award can improve your pay and conditions.

Go to the ‘Bargaining’ page and see how to bargain for a new agreement. http://www.ausecurityworker.com/bargaining.html

If your workplace is unionized, consult your union.
If your workplace is not unionized, organize an employee group and consider employing the services of an Industrial Relations Consultant

The agreement only allows for only 4 weeks annual leave where the Security Services Industry Award allows for 5 weeks for shift workers.

If you are working or have worked for National Protective Services Pty Ltd then check what you have been paid with what you should have been paid under the Security Services Award 2010.

Pay calculator is at: http://www.ausecurityworker.com/calculator.html

If you are working or have worked for National Protective Services Pty Ltd, then if you have not been paid according to the SSIA rates, make a complaint to the Fair Work Ombudsman. See: http://www.fairwork.gov.au/How-we-will-help/How-we-help-you/help-resolving-workp...

You will receive a big windfall in the form of back pay, more than you will ever earn on the pokies.  Cool See what others have gained. http://www.fairwork.gov.au/About-us/news-and-media-releases/2014-media-releases
