Enterprise Agreement: Australian Protection Services Pty Ltd (Casual Employees) Enterprise Agreement November 2013 See:https://www.fwc.gov.au/documents/documents/agreements/fwa/AE407198.pdf

Australian Protection Services Pty Ltd gave an undertaking to the Fair Work Commission that: Quote:
The normal span of hours will be 6:00am to  10:00pm Monday to Friday. Duty outside these hours will attract a shift penalty of $1.00 per hour in addition toclause 12 (a) for the whole shift when the majority of the shift falls outside the Normal span of hours.

Day shift under the Security Services Industry Award is between 6am to 6pm Monday to Friday and Night Shift between 6pm to 6am Monday to Friday and attracts a penalty rate a lot greater than $1.00 per hour. The agreement pay scale does not contain penalty rates for weekend work.

If you are working or have worked for Australian Protection Services Pty Ltd then check what you have been paid with what you should have been paid under the Security Services Award 2010.

Pay calculator is at: http://www.ausecurityworker.com/calculator.html

You are required to pay a bond for your uniform which is against award conditions.

The agreement does not have any provision for meal and rest breaks which is against award conditions.

If you are working or have worked for Australian Protection Services Pty Ltd, then if you have not been paid according to the SSIA rates, make a complaint to the Fair Work Ombudsman. See: http://www.fairwork.gov.au/How-we-will-help/How-we-help-you/help-resolving-workp...

You will receive a big windfall in the form of back pay, more than you will ever earn on the pokies.  Cool See what others have gained. http://www.fairwork.gov.au/About-us/news-and-media-releases/2014-media-releases
