This agreement was approved by: COMMISSIONER GREGORY MELBOURNE, 8 APRIL 2014

The commissioner had concerns about the pay rates in the agreement. The undertaking by Marsters Entourage Security Solutions Pty. Ltd. gives flat pay rates without shift allowance and weekend penalties.
This then disadvantages any employee when compared to the Security Services Industry Award payscale.

There is also a voluntary additional hours clause which means if you sing the VAH form you will not be entitled to overtime penalties. Usually when the agreement has this clause, the company pressures you to sign it on commencing employment.
