Charter Loss Prevention / Southern Cross Loss Prevention

ABN 71 164 506 656

CHARTER SECURITY PROTECTIVE SERVICES PTY LTD      Private Security Business Licence      873-130-70S

65 Palmerston Cres South Melbourne, VIC 3205, Australia

Enterprise Agreement: CHARTER PROTECTIVE SERVICES PTY LTD ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2014 https://www.fwc.gov.au/documents/documents/agreements/fwa/AE412697.pdf

This agreement was approved by COMMISSIONER GREGORY MELBOURNE, 19 FEBRUARY 2015

Charter Loss Prevention was sold by Charter Security to Southern Cross Loss Prevention in last part of 2014 but appears to trade under its own name.

The agreement contains a flat rate for Monday to Sunday work which is below what a worker on the award would make. Commissioner Gregory has endeavoured to gain an undertaking from the employer that weekend work and night shift will only constitute 13% of the roster. This is another blatant move by the employer to have the flat rate approved. Who believes in the security industry that work hours outside 6 am to 6 pm only constitute 13%.
