There are actually two parts to the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre (MCEC), and as such two separate contracts.

One part, the Exhibition Centre, is done by BRI and the Convention Centre is done by SXP. SXP in essence got it by default due to their purchase of Charter Security.

From time to time you might see other companies in the Exhibition Centre as those holding exhibitions have the right to arrange their own security for inside the display halls, but the core building is still BRI.
